Dr. Murphy - I have keratoconus and the types of contacts I can wear are very limited. I expressed concern about having to wear reading glasses on top of my contacts and the fact that my eyes are always strained because reading glasses cannot adequately correct my multi-focal requirements. Dr. Murphy researched the possibility for me to be fitted with multi-focal contacts. He followed up with a call just 1 day following my initial appointment to advise me he had found contacts that I could try. I have had my new contacts for about 10 days and feel like I have been given a new set of eyes. The freedom that I have gained from reading glasses and eye strain/headaches is immeasurable.
