Calgary Optometrist - Dr. Andrea Saetre
 | Dr. Andrea Saetre Dr. Andrea Saetre graduated from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry in 2003. She spent her first year in practice in Hamburg, Germany at EuroEyes Laser Centre where she gained valuable experience in refractive eye surgery. She is also fluent in German and can provide eye examinations in both English and German. Dr. Saetre has a strong commitment to community service. She has volunteered her time in numerous community and international vision care programs. She educated elementary school children in the importance of eye care during Vision Awareness Week, and contributed to the vision care of the underprivileged on a charity mission in Merida, Mexico. Dr. Saetre has a special interest in pediatrics, and strives to provide the best in patient care. Not only does she believe in thorough eye examinations but also in patient education. Dr. Saetre began working part time at Health Plus Optometry in September 2005, and became full time in September 2006. She also works at our Three Hills clinic, and at South Calgary Eyecare. Dr. Saetre is an avid outdoor enthusiast and enjoys hiking, camping, skiing and white water canoeing. In 1998, she completed her first half Ironman triathlon. Other interests include swing dancing and traveling. |
